8 hours of Labor (San Felasco)

My main goal was to survive the heat & humidity, prove to myself that the mis-execution of my nutrition strategy at 24 hour Nationals was a one-time mistake, and to redeem myself at (possibly) the last HOT endurance race of the year. I was armed with the best pit crew there is (besides Scott & Cody, of course). It is so unbelievably helpful to have someone that actually races these things doing support. Eddie knew exactly what I needed and when I needed it even before I knew it. It just let me focus on racing, which is what I was there to do. You are awesome, thank you baby!!!

Well, long story short...I played out my strategy with my pacing and nutrition and came out with the win. Aside from being a bit beat up from the roots, I felt so good at the end that I was able to get my 2nd fastest lap time on my last lap. I really like the 8 hour race length, I wish there was more of them! Thanks to:

Eddie
Matt & Julie Goforth
Gone Riding

Ergon, Hayes Disc Brake, No Tubes, Twin Six, BURN, and all my other sponsors (<---- see the left side). Thanks for the support through all the good races, as well as the "not so good" ones.

Great job Namrita! Nice podium attire to round out the day. Good luck at Interbike, they'll be lining up for you.

That's one of my favorite T's too (of course!).

Nice job at the race!!!!! You'll need an agent for interbike to weed out all of your offers :-)

Great Race! I actually finished lap one before you and as I pitted to adjust my BB I saw you take off and tried my best to chase you down, caught up to you by the first long tech climb, but then didn't see you again after I made my way up. Congrats on your race!

Whatever! I can carry a horn or drum or something and will play it as you enter the booths. Just so that people know you are arriving :-)
