Pisgah MTB Adventure

There is only one word to describe it, and that is "epic". What a beautiful place to have a race...I've never ridden anywhere this challenging and, well, just brutal. Stephen and I did not end up finding all 4 checkpoints as we did not come prepared with real bike lights and did not want to end up out there with only little hiking headlamps. We rode about 10 hours (with close to 2 hours of intense, steep hike-a-bike). I bonked, he bonked, we both crashed once, and still had a great time. We were at a real disadvantage not knowing the trails up there, but I'm glad I got to experience it anyway. Congrats to Eddie and Harvey for coming in a (VERY) close 3rd place!!!
