I can't stop checking this site and this one, too.
I think Eddie has agreed to do it with me...someday at least. I am not as tough as Mary or Jenn who are the two females racing the TD and the GDR, respectively, this year. I admit it, I need company..I just don't enjoy spending that much time by myself..too much time for my imagination to go wild.
I was supposed to do a 5 hour ride with Neal and co. this morning..but at 6:45 am I made the call to not join. I think I've had my fill of the rail trail this week, and could use the rest..it is my day off, anyway!

maybe..i don't know...possibly?..why not..but then again why?
well, definitely one of those things you should be definite about ;) I only mentioned something because it's the 3rd or so time this week its come up and I would have never thought of doing it. of course, those are usually the good ones......guess I got a year to simmer on that...

Nam - I think you'd be awesome out there! Definitely a new adventure in your racing! I can see you doing it.

2010? I don't think I can wait until then..someday soon I'm actually going to have to start working and making some money. What's wrong with 2009? :)
good question. I want to prepare. Due some self supported tours to practice and work out the buggs. I Set the date 2010 in 2007 just to keep it realistic.
It will be tough and when I go, I want to finish.
Once in a lifetime thing for me.
But, Nam, the question I have for you is- SS??
SS...oh i don't know. with my luck with derailleurs and shifters, i probably should go SS. for the record, i'm not committing to anything! i should probably try something smaller to see if i am even cut out for this nonsense :)
karlos..good points. for me, 2009 makes more sense because i'm graduating in may '09..perfect timing for something BIG...if i decide i even want something big.
