it's only almost october
but i can't help thinking about next year. you see, the great thing about 2009 is that i (finally) graduate from grad school in may. that means the options for long trips for racing are endless. let's see....i have a sister in NorCal, friends in SoCal, friends in Colorado, Oregon, Vermont, Arizona...the possibilities are endless.
Then there is the obvious NUE (100 miler series)
A new stage race in Colorado
Vision Quest
VT50
Leadville 100
Creampuff 100
A 24 hour race in Italy!
USAC Endurance series (lap courses, though)
Of course, as Eddie nicely points out, I still have to make money once I graduate...unfortunately the diploma doesn't drop $100K in my pockets. Darn.

Remain a student at all costs!! Work really interferes with training and recovery.
Oooo! Come out for the VQ!! Y'all have a place to stay, of course. :)
2009 sounds like it's going to shape up to be a fun year for you.
Leadville all the way. You gotta do it!
Creampuff would be awesome but I dont think anywhere competes with Leadville for atmosphere (or lack thereof)
Register for VQ asap if you haven't already this morning!
OK, apparently VQ is already sold out. That's ok. I was hoping it was later in the year (after May) anyway. It's crazy how these races sell out so fast out west. I need to be on the ball for the others! Feel free to send me reminders since we are a little isolated here in the Southeast! :)
moonbeam, let me know what other races you are going to do out there. it would be fun to race together again.
